This plant has narrow dark green foliage with a fine white variegation. A very slow growing plant, growing only a few inches high and spreading slowly by tuberous roots and stolons. Flowers are pale lavender in color. Best in shady locations in inland gardens, but will take full sun along the coast. Use as a small scale groundcover or accent plant at the base of rocks or ornaments. Good as a small companion plant in a container. Water regularly.
