Hedera helix Gold Child Ivy

Hedera helix 'Gold Child Ivy'

Gold Child Ivy

♦ Zones: 5 - 10     Height: 8 - 12"     Exposure: Partial Sun to Shade ♦

Very nice form of ivy that is similar to English but with a much more moderate growth rate and gorgeous golden-yellow margins.  In hot summer sun the margins may fade to a creamy white. To  maintain the golden yellow color place in an area that is protected from hot afternoon sun.  Very easy to grow and will tolerate a wide range of soils and growing conditions.  Best if planted in a rich soil with consistent moisture.  Gold Child will tolerate dry conditions once established but it is important that you water new plants.
