'Royal Red' has spike-like long terminal dusters of magenta-purple flowers which bloom from June through September.  Butterflies are attracted by the fragrant flowers.  They have willowy gray-green foliage and are a popular fresh cut flower.  Best used in mass plantings in borders, cottage gardens or butterfly gardens.
